The Panasonic AK-UCU600 camera control unit has the following features:

• Enables the transmission of high quality 4K images using two types of connections: UHD 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI. The UHD 12G-SDI connection uses a single cable to transmit uncompressed 4K signals, while the 3G-SDI connection can use four cables with quad or two-sample interleaving.
• Offers a long transmission distance over optical fiber, which can reach 2000 m between the camera and the CCU. This facilitates coverage of live or outdoor events without loss of image quality.
• Has a compact and lightweight design, occupying only 2U in height in a standard rack. This saves space and makes it easy to transport and install the unit.
• Supports IP streaming via a 100 Base-T interface, allowing video, audio and control data to be sent and received over an IP network. This expands the possibilities for remote and collaborative production.
• Incorporates an SD memory card slot, which can be used to save user files, such as camera settings or scenes, and to update the unit's firmware.
• It has two 12G-SDI outputs that can send uncompressed 4K signals to other devices, such as monitors or recorders. It also supports TICO over SDI output, which compresses the 4K signal for transmission over a conventional 3G-SDI cable.
• Supports various output formats, including 1080p/i and 720p. In addition, you can select a high-speed output at 2x, 3x or 4x depending on the specifications of the server to which it is connected. This allows for slow motion or fast motion effects on 4K images.
• Allows simultaneous HDR and SDR output, as well as simultaneous BT.2020 and BT.709 HDR output. This makes it easy to adapt to different viewing environments and requirements while maintaining image quality and dynamic range.
• Is compatible with the AK-UC3000 camera, which offers excellent 4K image quality with a large MOS sensor and advanced processing. This combination offers an optimal solution for live 4K production.
