OBSBOT's Tail Air mini camera is a compact, AI-powered streaming camera solution that supports automatic tracking of people, animals and even objects without the need for PTZ operation. This allows the camera to be implemented into any classroom, place of worship or conference room for remote meetings using software such as Skype, Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The camera offers a variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, USB-C and micro HDMI. It also features a 3.5 mm audio input for microphone or line-in, making it easy to add external audio to recordings or broadcasts.

Key features of the camera include a 1/1.8”, 8.42 MP 4K CMOS sensor, resulting in razor-sharp images. Its fixed-focus lens with ƒ/1.8 aperture and 2 μm pixels improves low-light performance. With up to four programmable preset positions, the camera can move between frames quickly and automatically. It is controlled via the OBSBOT Start or OBS Live apps, NDI controllers or through gestures, enabling touch-free operation. It also has an integrated Tally light. The IP video output is compressed using H.265, H.264 or MJPEG formats and can transmit up to two simultaneous streaming signals using SRT, RTSP and RTMP protocols.

This camera has a range of accessories designed to enhance its functionality and versatility in different recording environments. The NDI|HX3 license allows high quality, low latency video transmission over IP networks, making it easy to integrate into professional setups. The remote control provides simple and precise control of the camera, allowing framing, zoom and tracking trigger adjustments without the need to use the application. In addition, the 360° rotating base extends the camera's movement capabilities, allowing for an even greater tracking range, allowing capturing video in any direction and a constant battery charge.
