Incoming video sources do not have to be synchronized, as the Ki Pro GO has synchronizers on each input. It also includes high-quality AJA deinterlaceers for progressive recording of interlaced signals. 2-channel embedded audio or balanced analog audio can be assigned to any recording channel. Multiviewer monitor output allows multiple video channels to be displayed on any HDMI display.
Designed to be portable or rack mountable, with half width and 2RU height, it is suitable for use in any environment.
You can simplify its configuration by connecting up to four HDMI sources and four 3G-SDI to the Ki Pro GO and assign any combination of the four inputs to the four H.264 recording channels, corresponding to the four USB slots on the front of the Ki Pro GO.
The Genlock input of the Ki Pro GO makes it easy to switch signals, including SDI, DSLR or HDMI cameras, to the appropriate recording channel, all conveniently mapped within the elegant Ki Pro GO user interface.
The Ki Pro GO uses MP4 and MOV as the codec container, providing adequate flexibility for any workflow and supports independent recording profiles per channel, up to 25Mbs at 8 or 10 bits for any channel assignment. It is also possible to choose between 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 color depth.
Selection of low, medium and high VBR recording profiles:
- Low: Suitable for presenters, conference backups, security backups and more.
- Medium: Ideal for more detailed and complex content.
- High: Serves well for fast and highly detailed content, such as sports or live event stages such as concerts.
Offers redundant recording capability. Four USB ports on the front provide easy access for USB recording media. A fifth USB port, on the back, provides redundant recording of all channels simultaneously, either for backup or for secondary copying of captured files to post-production, clients or other members of your team.
