The AJA KONA IP25 is an SMPTE ST2110 PCIe Gen 4.0, 8-lane, IP input/output card that supports uncompressed bi-directional video. It has two slots for 10 and 25 Gigabit Ethernet SFPs and a 1GigE RJ-45 connector.
It is a complete solution for SMPTE ST2110 processing with built-in PTP and NMOS control. The KONA IP25 appears on the computer like any other KONA card including control. Configuration and control of the ST2110 is supported on the media network via SFPs and on the RJ-45 control network.
The KONA IP25 supports Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro CC, Media Composer, AJA Control Room, OBS and other editing, effects and production tools. For developers, the AJA SDK used for the KONA baseband I/O cards is valid for the KONA IP25, offering an easy way to develop applications and create systems for SMPTE ST2110 workflows.

The KONA IP25 is an SMPTE ST2110 PCIe Gen 4.0 8-lane SMPTE ST2110 IP input/output card, which supports uncompressed bi-directional video. The KONA IP25 has two slots supporting 10 and 25 Gigabit Ethernet (10/25 GigE) SFPs and also features a 1GigE RJ-45 connector.
The AJA KONA IP25 is a complete solution for SMPTE ST2110 processing with built-in PTP and NMOS control. To a computer, the KONA IP25 appears as any other KONA card including control, so it is not placed in the host PC.
Configuration and control of the ST2110 is supported both In-Band (media network via SFPs) and Out-of-Band (control network via RJ-45). The KONA IP25 seamlessly supports Apple® Final Cut Pro, Adobe® Premiere® Pro CC, Avid® Media Composer®, AJA Control Room, OBS and other leading editing, effects and production tools through AJA's robust and feature-rich Desktop Software.
For users, the operational experience of using their favourite creative tool remains unchanged, and with the additions of the AJA Control Panel for configuring capture and playback, seamless expansion to the ST2110 protocol is assured. For developers, the same AJA SDK used for KONA baseband I/O cards is also used for KONA IP25, offering an easy way to develop applications and create systems for SMPTE ST2110 workflows.
