PTZ3 Plus UHD - UHD PTZ Camera with NDI|HX3 (White)

Vizrt PTZ3 Plus UHD PTZ camera in white, combines the simplicity and control of a PTZ camera with the NDI|HX3 protocol. It provides video professionals and AV system integrators with a UHD 4K video PTZ camera for remote education, hospitals, meeting rooms, and TV studios. The PTZ3 Plus UHD features a 30x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom, along with smooth and natural pan and tilt movements. It can deliver high-quality video with virtually no latency while using less bandwidth than previous NDI protocols, and includes SDI and HDMI outputs for local monitoring. Additionally, the PTZ3 Plus UHD offers a mini-XLR audio input with phantom power, and includes an XLR to mini-XLR adapter for use with professional audio equipment.

The Vizrt PTZ3 Plus UHD camera supports tally, control, power, audio, and video through a single CAT network cable, making it compatible with any application that supports NDI. The single-cable connection simplifies camera placement, as you only need to run one Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power line. Ceiling and wall mounts are included, allowing you to install the PTZ3 Plus UHD anywhere and control it remotely.

Audio

You can use the professional mini-XLR audio input with phantom power, in addition to the standard 3.5 mm line-level jack, to deliver clean, professional-grade audio directly from the camera to the NDI network. The XLR connection offers a range of connectivity options. When combined with NDI Audio Direct, XLR audio connects to NDI receivers and virtually any audio software, enabling unprecedented levels of creative flexibility.

AI Presenter Tracking

The PTZ3 Plus UHD features AI-based automatic presenter tracking, keeping the talent always in frame. Facial and posture detection allows tracking even when the presenter turns around. Additionally, the whiteboard detection feature locks the camera during presentations to enhance the viewer experience. Presenter memory prevents unwanted focus changes, and the tracked target switching facilitates alternating between presenters.

FreeD-over-NDI|HX Integration

The PTZ3 Plus UHD is the first PTZ camera to offer FreeD-over-NDI|HX, embedding camera positioning metadata (position, rotation, and lens data) in each frame via NDI|HX. This simplifies the setup of augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) systems, eliminating the need for additional hardware and reducing production complexity.

Multicasting

Optionally allows multiple destinations to receive video from the NDI|HX PTZ camera without individual point-to-point connections, preserving network bandwidth.

Preset Positions and Smooth Motion

The Vizrt PTZ3 Plus UHD offers synchronized preset startups and a new motion algorithm that helps create a natural look and feel in any production.

Single-Cable Connection

The Vizrt PTZ3 Plus UHD can be integrated into any workflow using a single Ethernet cable for up to 2160/60p UHD 4K video, audio, presets, PTZ control, Tally, and PoE.

Power over Ethernet

Streamlines installation and reduces cable complexity by eliminating the need for a separate power connection, with support for PoE+.

3G-SDI and HDMI Outputs

Capture and deliver video in conventional workflows with support for 3G-SDI and HDMI hardware outputs.

Program and Preview Tally

Receives Tally information from compatible NDI devices via physical LEDs when the output of your NDI|HX PTZ camera is visible in Program and/or Preview.

Remote Control and Monitoring

Operate camera controls, monitor video, manage login credentials, and configure audio, video, and network settings from any network-connected device via the web-based user interface or Vizrt NDI Studio Monitor.
