Multi-camera productions: up to 8 independent cameras

With eight independent 12G-SDI inputs with format conversion to different resolutions, the ATEM Television Studio 4K8 mixer can process all sources as HD 1080p / 720p or UHD 2160p, depending on the mixer's operating format, or use each of the SDI connections to receive signals in different formats, achieving professional multi-angle productions where the operator can control any parameter.
 

Multiple outputs

This Blackmagic ATEM model has 10 fully configurable 12G-SDI outputs, so you can send individual return signals to each of the cameras for monitoring and control or to reference monitors or recorders. This is vital for controlling the cameras, intercommunicating and activating the Tally light. The ATEM Television Studio 4K8 allows operation as an RCP for all Blackmagic cameras, as did other devices in the ATEM range, but adds a new feature: it allows remote zooming. Each of the auxiliary outputs can be configured to send any of the available sources, including colour bars, media players, keys, pre, program, program, Clean-Feed or any of the inputs.
 
And finally, this Blackmagic video mixer features a 12G-SDI output for program and simultaneous 3G-SDI and HDMI pre-outs, which greatly facilitates monitoring on large productions where multiple departments must monitor signals. 
  

Live streaming production

The built-in streaming engine allows you to broadcast live on platforms such as Youtube, Facebook or Vimeo with improved quality and zero loss. Simply connect the device to the Internet via any of the 4x 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, or tether via the USB-C port, select the desired platform and enter the password to start streaming. Thanks to its easy setup and data rate indicators, which show the speed required for a good transmission, the Atem Television Studio 4K8 offers an affordable and quality streaming solution.
 

6-band parametric equaliser, compressor and limiter

The Atem Television Studio 4K8 mixers feature advanced audio controls that allow you to refine the sound quality of each input and output, including audio level control, a 6-band parametric equaliser and powerful dynamic controls. This Blackmagic device comes equipped with a wide variety of physical controls that allow you to monitor and configure the audio mix in your live production. Its LCD, which allows you to monitor the parameters of the different channels, together with its rotary selectors, allow you to adjust all parameters with precision.
