The Stardom SOHORAID SR2 Series enclosures come in three variants: SR2-B31A, accompanied by USB-C to USB-A cable, SR2-B31, includes USB-C to USB-C cable, and SR2-BA31, which includes both USB-C to USB-A and USB-C to USB-C connections are 2-bay storage solutions designed for efficiency and flexibility in data management.
   
Versatile RAID Configurations: Stardom SR2 enclosures support two different RAID configurations. This allows users to choose the configuration that best suits their needs, whether it is maximising performance and storage capacity, or data security.
  
RAID 0 focuses on speed. It divides data into blocks and distributes it across multiple disks, which speeds up read and write operations. However, it does not offer redundancy, so if one disk fails, all data is lost.
RAID 1 maximises the protection of data, which is written to both disks simultaneously. In the event of a disk failure, data is read and processed from the other disk.
   
Universal compatibility and hot-swappable: Stardom's SR2 series enclosures, in all variants, are designed to integrate seamlessly with both PCs and Macs. Their support for USB-C connections ensures fast data transfers of up to 6Gbps, which is essential for data-intensive applications such as video editing and photography. In addition, these Stardom enclosures are RAID compatible with all operating systems, Windows, macOS and Linux. This ensures that it can be easily integrated into any working environment. It supports hot-swappable 2.5‘ and 3.5’ hard disk drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD), allowing users to swap drives without powering down the device, minimising downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operation. This flexibility allows users to customise their storage configuration to their specific needs, combining speed and capacity.
  
Rugged, compact design: Constructed from durable aluminium to ensure durability in the face of continuous and prolonged use. Its compact 2-bay design maximises the use of physical space, allowing large amounts of data to be stored without taking up too much space. Intuitive interface: These devices are equipped with an LCM (Liquid Crystal Monitor) display screen and touch controls on the front panel. This interface facilitates easy and efficient management and monitoring of the device status, allowing quick adjustments and constant monitoring of the operating status and RAID configuration.
   
Cooling and power system: The device incorporates an efficient cooling system with an 8 cm fan that operates at very low noise levels. This fan ensures optimal temperature management, prolonging the lifespan of the disks and maintaining peak performance of the device. In addition, the SR4 enclosures feature an advanced 150W power supply, with a USB power delivery capability of 24W. This allows for fast charging of compatible devices such as tablets and smartphones, ensuring they are always operational without long waiting times.
