The Magewell Pro Capture Dual SDI 4K Plus allows two 12G-SDI signals to be captured in single-link 12G-SDI, dual-link 6G-SDI, or quad-link 3G-SDI, with low-latency processing of only 64 video lines. The PCIe Gen2 x8 capture card supports 4K DCI resolution and is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems, as well as popular applications such as OBS.

Several of these cards can be connected to a single host as they have a rotary switch that allows the card number to be set. Video engine functions include 10-bit video processing, deinterlacing, cropping, color adjustment, hardware time stamping, color space conversion, upscaling/downscaling, aspect ratio conversion, OSD and SG-DMA transmission mode. The card can operate continuously 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Windows Driver Tweaks

Firmware Upgrade

  • Multiple cards in one system can be upgraded simultaneously
  • Cards can be upgraded without a system power shutdown (In most cases, even a reboot is not needed)
  • Safe upgrade. If power off or system break down occur when the firmware is being upgraded, it will automatically restore to the initial version.

LED Indicator
