The SENNHEISER MKH 50-P48 solo condenser microphone is supercardioid, MKH 50 offers greater diffusive and lateral sound attenuation than the cardioid microphone.
It is primarily designed for use as a solo or knitted microphone for applications requiring a high degree of lateral sound mute and feedback rejection. Directional characteristics are frequency independent.
