The Magewell Director One is an all-in-one live production and streaming system that offers a wide range of features in a compact device. With its 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, flexible connectivity, and high-quality encoding and recording capabilities, the Director One is an ideal solution for live productions of any size.
 

Multiple simultaneous input sources

You can switch between two HDMI inputs, two USB AV inputs, and three live IP sources simultaneously, including SRT, RTMP, RTSP, NDI® High Bandwidth, NDI® HX2, and NDI® HX3 streams. Additionally, mobile cameras are supported via the Director Utility app, multimedia files (video, images, music), and web page inputs.
 

Production flexibility and power

The Director One features a 7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 800 nits of brightness and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1. Users can define multiple scenes by combining live video and audio inputs with network streams, multimedia sources, and graphics, then switch or transition between these scenes. Production tools include chroma keying, graphics, telestration, integrated graphics markers, replays, and live HTML graphics. 
 

Streaming and recording

The Director One can encode video up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and bit rates of up to 30 Mbps. Productions can be streamed via RTMP to popular platforms such as YouTube™, Twitch, and Facebook Live, as well as to custom destinations. The SRT output supports high-quality remote production workflows, while the NDI® HX3 output is ideal for local IP-based production. Content can also be recorded on the internal drive, with options for time- or size-split recording, and ISO recording of two simultaneous sources or two different qualities of the same source.
