Sennheiser e914 Cardioid Condenser Microphone

Sennheiser e914 Cardioid Condenser Microphone

SEN-E914

The Sennheiser e914 is a condenser instrument microphone for the pick-up in crucial recording and sound reinforcement applications. The wide, linear response from 20Hz to 20kHz results in a vivid and accurate reproduction of instruments across the entire frequency range. The e914 is an excellent choice for picking up piano, cymbals, guitar, strings and stereo ambience in live and sound design applications.

The microphone capsule features a cardioid polar pattern for excellent rejection of off-axis noise, while maintaining accurate frequency response throughout the range. A -10 and -20dB attenuation switch provides additional headroom. Switchable low-frequency attenuation at 85Hz and 130Hz is available. The e914 provides the audio fidelity and flexibility needed to work in any studio recording or live sound application.

Condenser microphone with full sound and excellent dynamics. Its soft and silky character, never recharged, develops from the soft accent of the sophisticated treble. Itsdirect transient responseaccurately captures the temperament of each group, even at very high sound pressure levels.
With its detailed resolution, the e914 makes every live drum sound more refined. The capsule has anextraordinary feedback resistance and can be individually adapted to different needs: three positions of bass rolling/cutting and pre-attenuation can be adjusted.
