The Crane 4 offers a smooth and efficient user experience. Thanks to its innovative intelligent balance indicator light, equipped with a sensor in the motors, the stabilizer provides constant reminders for accurate balance at all times.
Switching between horizontal and vertical recording has never been easier. The Crane 4's new quick-release system allows effortless switching from one orientation to the other using the same hot shoe. This saves time in balancing and allows videographers to focus on capturing incredible moments in both formats without having to constantly balance the gimbal.
With the new Sling 2.5 extendable grip, the Zhiyun Crane 4 adapts to every user. Included only in the Combo kit, this grip provides greater comfort and ease of use, allowing you to shoot from low angles effortlessly. In addition, the grip features a 1/4-inch thread, which allows additional accessories such as microphones and monitors to be mounted on it, providing great versatility.
The Crane 4 is unique in ergonomics. The state-of-the-art anti-fatigue wrist rest (also included in the Combo kit) provides a firm and soft grip, adjustable by means of a control thread that adapts perfectly to each user's way of operating the camera.
Another outstanding feature of the Crane 4 is its integrated 10-watt fill light. Located on the front arm, it offers a power of 3,200 lux at 0.5 meters, which is very useful in complex lighting situations and adds quality to shots. In addition, the variable color temperature (from 2,700 to 5,500ºK) and high CRI color rendering (95+) ensure accurate and faithful color reproduction.
Like the Weebill 3S and Crane M3S, the new Crane 4 allows the camera to be controlled via Bluetooth, making it possible to shoot and record wirelessly. This feature is compatible with most cameras on the market, giving users wireless freedom of movement.
The Crane 4's color touch screen offers quick and intuitive access to all advanced functions. Operators can adjust their gimbal and access functions such as time-lapse, panorama and motion-lapse by simply swiping their fingers.
Zhiyun has taken into account even the smallest details for professionals. The Crane 4 features a magnetic screwdriver integrated into the base of the axis and a silicone arm protector, ensuring adequate protection during transport.
The Crane 4 allows for complete custom configuration. Both the dial and the front trigger can be set to adjust parameters such as sensitivity, shutter speed or aperture on compatible cameras. They can also be used as quick shortcuts to control gimbal modes, tilt or focus and zoom, providing an intuitive and convenient user experience.
The Zhiyun Crane 4 is compatible with Zhiyun's TransMount range of professional accessories, a complete creative ecosystem. With focus and zoom motors or the TransMount Image Transmission Transmitter AI, videographers can gain full control over their footage.
The new Crane features four built-in 18650 batteries that provide up to 12 hours of battery life. In addition, the PD (Power Delivery) fast charging protocol offers a full charge in as little as 110 minutes. You can even charge the gimbal while in use, using a powerbank or other external power source.
The Crane 4 Combo Pack comes with a handheld tripod, carrying bag, camera base, optics holder, quick-release shoe, reflector, 3/8-inch and ¼-inch screws, Allen key (M4), USB-C charging cable and various control cables for Sony, Canon and Panasonic cameras, and includes a Sling 2.5 arm and wrist rest.
