Fujifilm has created this new FUJIFILM GF63mm F2.8 R WR for the GFX system. It is valid for their entire range of cameras (GFX100 II, GFX100, GFX100S, GFX50S II, GFX50S and GFX50 R). It is a wide-angle lens equivalent to a 50mm full-frame G-mount lens that offers a field of view similar to that of the human eye in a compact form factor.
The optical system of this GF63mm F2.8 R WR incorporates 10 elements and 8 groups incorporates an extra-low dispersion element to reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing to improve clarity and colour accuracy throughout the aperture range. By adopting a front group extension type for the focusing method, aberration variations due to shooting distance are suppressed, achieving high-resolution performance even when wide open from the centre to the edges of the lens.
