Capture and playback device for computers with PCI Express and Thunderbolt technology. It is able to achieve an extraordinary speed of transfer of 40 Gb/s and has connections 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 that allow to process images with intense colors at a frequency of 60 f/s. Moreover, it supports content in 12-bit RGB format and provides support for high dynamic range projects and frames in 4K resolution. Thanks to its wide analog and digital connectivity, this equipment can be used with all types of cameras, recorders, monitors and switching matrices. It even offers the possibility of recording H.265 files in real time.
The UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 offers a wide variety of connections, including SDI, HDMI and analog. In addition, they are compatible with popular editing programs, including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Media Composer and Adobe Creative Suite, and can record images in QuickTime and WDM format so that they can use programs in both operating systems Mac OS X as Windows.
UltraStudio teams with Thunderbolt connectivity are ideal for projects that demand high performance and the best quality. Simply connect a Thunderbolt cable to a desktop computer or laptop to access the tools for color-grading, editing, special effects and live streaming. UltraStudio 4K Capture and Playback Devices offer very advanced performance for editing projects in DCI 4K and UHD 60p definition.
Ultra Studio 4K Extreme 3 is the most advanced solution available today for content capture and playback. It has 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connections that support an image frequency of 60 f/s, with a color depth of 12 bits in 4K resolution. The integrated encoder is able to convert images in real time to H.265 format, which is the one used for the distribution of contents in UHD. It also includes a wider range of analog and digital connections than any other model in the UltraStudio line, so it can be used with all types of cameras, recorders, monitors and switching arrays.
The UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 allows the use of the 12G SDI interface through derived outputs, in order to process contents in 2160p60 with a single cable. Includes an HDMI 2.0 connection, four channels for analog audio with XLR connectors and 2 channels for AES/EBU digital audio. It also has inputs for component and reference analogue signals, time code and port to control different devices. It connects via the Thunderbolt port or an optional PCIe adapter that provides the ability to process content with higher image frequency and RGB color depth with 4K resolution. The UltraStudio Extreme 3 device features a new Thunderbolt 3 port that offers transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s.
