Wide Gamut Colour Space

This Eizo offers a wide colour gamut to take full advantage of the capabilities of modern cameras. It features an IPS panel that spans an extensive colour space, including AdobeRGB and ISO-Coated V2 CMYK at over 99%. This ensures faithful and unaltered representation of the entire colour spectrum of today's cameras, enabling accurate visual assessment and processing of saturated tones in files. In addition, the guarantee of an accurate simulation of print results is highlighted by the softproof view function.

Exceptional picture quality

The monitor impresses with its maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200, an excellent contrast ratio of 1350:1 and a maximum brightness of 410cd/m². This enables precise editing of graphics and images at pixel level. In addition, text outlines appear sharp and precise. Thanks to the LCD module with dual-layer IPS panel (Wide Gamut, 10 Bit), a wide viewing angle is achieved, ensuring that colour tones and contrasts remain stable within the user's field of vision.

Smooth transitions and gradients thanks to the 16-bit LUT and 10-bit panel

The LUT (Look-Up-Table) of the CS2400S performs internal calculations with 16-bit colour depth, and then the panel outputs the signals with up to 10-bit precision. This means that a wide range of billions of colour tones is available to accurately calculate the visual representation of the monitor. This methodology effectively prevents monitor-generated display errors, such as banding or clipping, which could cause breaks in tonal values in gradients or colour casts in greyscales. Even nuances and fine structures in dark or highly saturated areas of the image are displayed in a differentiated and detailed manner.

Ex-factory in perfect condition

In order to ensure that a ColorEdge is ready for use immediately after taking the monitor out of its box, each CS2400S is individually measured and optimally adjusted at the factory. This process involves a thorough check of the gamma curves of the red, green and blue channels, correcting them if necessary. EIZO's unique factory calibration allows users to use the monitor with preset colour spaces right out of the box. This detailed factory calibration is also the reason why the user recalibration process with ColorNavigator is so fast.

Digital Uniformity Equaliser (DUE)

The panel of each monitor is accurately measured, over its entire surface, at the EIZO factory. Any inhomogeneities in brightness or colour shades are detected and eliminated. This process (Digital Uniformity Equalizer, or DUE) ensures that identical colours always look the same throughout the lifetime of the monitor, regardless of where they are displayed. This is the only way to accurately edit and retouch images.

Hardware calibration without compromise

In order to ensure that a monitor maintains a consistent representation of a file throughout its lifetime, regular calibration is essential for these Eizo monitors. For this reason, all ColorEdge monitors employ the lossless hardware calibration method. In contrast to software calibration, which risks degrading display quality, hardware calibration not only generates a correction profile for the graphics card, but also adjusts the LUT (Look-Up-Table) of the monitor.

EIZO software for fast calibration and printing

All monitors age and change their display properties. Therefore, graphics monitors, which require an absolutely constant image display during their entire lifetime, must be calibrated and corrected regularly. With EIZO's free ColorNavigator 7 calibration software, the CG2400S ColorEdge can be easily and losslessly corrected within 90 seconds (measured with MacBook Pro and EX4). So the same image will still look the same on the monitor five years from now.

Eizo microchip

This colour-corrected monitor features a high-quality chip developed for the special requirements of working with uniform colours. It is the guarantee for an accurate, uniform and constant image.

One monitor, many connections

The Eizo CS2400S supports a wide range of video formats via USB-C, HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces. Because the monitor has different interfaces, it makes your daily work easier. It also has USB ports.

KVM switch

Via the upstream USB ports, the CS2400S has an integrated KVM switch (keyboard, video and mouse). The monitor automatically links the mouse and keyboard to the currently active source computer.

Flicker-free and glare-free

The monitor does not flicker at any brightness setting. The advantage is that your eyes don't get tired as quickly. You can work on the screen for the long periods of time that image editing requires.

The CS2400S ColorEdge offers an optimal anti-glare surface that minimises reflections by scattering reflected light. The CS2400S effectively prevents glare and eye fatigue. In addition to reducing eye fatigue, one can sit comfortably in front of the monitor without a "forced position" to avoid glare.

Flexible stand

Eizo displays can be infinitely adjusted in height and, depending on the model, can be lowered to the very base of the stand. This allows for optimal ergonomics, whether you are standing or sitting in front of the screen. You can also swivel, tilt and tilt the monitor stand in the way that is most comfortable for your sitting posture.

The CS2400S can also be rotated in portrait format, which is a great advantage for corded shots in portrait format in person shots, for example.
