The Rode VideoMic Pro+ is a compact directional gun microphone designed for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders as the primary and reference audio source. It incorporates the Rycote Lyre suspension system, enhancing the existing VideoMic Pro's tube and windproof capsule/line, and has a host of new features.

The Auto Power On function (with pluggable power available) is perfect for the photographer, as it automatically turns off the microphone when the camera is disconnected. The integrated battery cover makes battery replacement very easy and prevents battery loss.

The VideoMic Pro+ can be powered by the included RODE LB-1 Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, 2 AA batteries or continuously via the MicroUSB connection. Digital Switching ensures that the user has the best capture of the audio signal at the source, reducing postproduction and editing times.
