QNAP QSW-M3224-24T - Managed Switch
The QNAP QSW-M3224-24T is a Layer 3 Lite (L3 Lite) managed switch designed for enterprise environments requiring high performance and reliability. Featuring 24 RJ45 10GbE ports supporting Multi-Gigabit NBASE-T technologies (10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M), this switch offers a switching capacity of up to 480 Gbps, ensuring optimal performance in high-demand applications such as high-speed storage, video editing, virtualization, artificial intelligence, and AV over IP.
The QSW-M3224-24T incorporates the QNAP Switch System Pro (QSS Pro) management system, which provides advanced network management functions, including IP configuration (IPv4, IPv6, DNS), static routing, DHCP server, SNTP, and advanced VLANs. Additionally, it supports Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG) and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), offering high availability and network redundancy.
24-Port 10GbE Network
Offers a switching capacity of 480Gbps; supports 10GBASE-T and Multi-Gigabit NBASE-T™ technologies for connecting 10G/5G/2.5G/1G network devices for high-speed devices. Supports the LACP protocol to combine two ports for a bandwidth of up to 20 Gbit/s.
L3 Lite
Provides IP configuration (IPv4, IPv6, DNS), static routing, DHCP server, SNTP, and advanced VLAN configuration to implement and manage a secure and high-performance enterprise network infrastructure.
Continuous Enterprise Networks
Adopts MC-LAG (Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation Group) to provide high availability and redundancy to ensure uninterrupted network switching.
Secure Network Management
Supports ACL, Qfinder Pro login, and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) management to ensure secure connections between the switch and network devices, and enable centralized management and maintenance.
Low-Latency AVoIP User Experience
Supports IGMP Snooping with VLAN and QoS priority management for high-resolution audiovisual experiences. This makes it ideal for applications such as videowalls and large outdoor display walls.
Centralized Cloud Control for Hassle-Free Administration
No additional hardware or software is needed. Use the AMIZcloud management platform to monitor multiple switches in different locations, allowing for remote IT troubleshooting and reducing operational costs.
Scale a Secure and Highly Efficient Enterprise Network Infrastructure with the QNAP L3 Lite Switch
Medium to large-scale businesses often have a large and complex network infrastructure. Upgrading to an L3 Lite managed switch not only allows for scaling a secure high-speed network infrastructure but also saves a significant amount of maintenance and administration costs.
Scalability
As you scale your network, you will need more network switches for more end devices. Implementing an L3 Lite switch makes granular control over large-scale segmented networks possible.
High Performance
High-performance network transmission is critical for business-critical applications and services. An L3 Lite switch effectively meets the demands of a high-performance network in virtualization, multimedia, and AI applications.
LACP
Link aggregation combines multiple network connections to increase throughput and protection against a connection failure.
QoS
Quality of Service (QoS) provides fine-grained traffic control (queue scheduling) and priority management (strict policy), thereby improving network performance and ensuring the real-time delivery of critical traffic.
IGMP Snooping
IGMP Snooping helps minimize bandwidth waste and prevent network information loss.
Advanced Security and System Functions
The QSW-M3224-24T features advanced security and system functions (including ACL, LLDP, RSTP, and flow control) so that administrators can enjoy a more reliable network through access control, troubleshooting, loop prevention, and preventing packet loss.
ACL
Access Control List (ACL) enhances security by filtering incoming and outgoing packet data using custom rules. ACL Mirroring is also supported to allow matching traffic from specific ACL rules to be copied and forwarded to designated monitoring or analysis devices.
LLDP
Enables devices to advertise device information to directly connected neighbours/peers to simplify troubleshooting processes.
RSTP
Ensures a loop-free topology for Ethernet networks by blocking or forwarding traffic.
Flow Control
Balances traffic between a sender and receiver to prevent network congestion.
Reliable Performance with Efficient Heat Dissipation
With a compact metal chassis, the QSW-M3224-24T provides stable and reliable operations even when the unit is under full load or stays nearly silent. Front panel LEDs also help to see the current system status.
