Multivierers offer great savings in space and power consumption. In the past, multiple monitors were needed in a Mobile Unit to simultaneously control the different cameras, VTRs, character generators, etc. This was a tremendous load since they were also tube monitors. Today, with modern LED monitors that barely occupy a few centimeters deep and have a very low consumption, we can monitor 16 signals at the same time with good quality and without processing delay. The installation is simplified because we only have to take a cable to the big screen, usually HDMI, which provides enough quality and the generator placed near the sources, with short cables.
