The Matrox QuadHead2Go Q155 Appliance, part Q2G-H4K2, is a standalone device designed for high-resolution video wall management. Custom resolutions up to 4Kp60 and 8Kx8K are supported upon request. Integrated 1GB memory ensures optimal performance for demanding environments.

The appliance offers a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connector (10/100/1000 Base-T, auto-detect), enabling remote control, firmware updates, and configuration via HTTP/HTTPS, mDNS, DNS-SD, and UPnP. Multi-unit support allows for scalable video walls, with synchronization and centralized IP management capabilities.

Management and control

Control options include the free Matrox PowerWall software and a REST API, allowing custom configurations from third-party applications. Physical buttons on the device facilitate preset layout selection and adjustments, compatible with rectangular (2x2, 4x1, 1x4, etc.) and artistic scenarios. Advanced features include cropping, scaling, rotation (90°, 180°, 270°), bezel management, HDCP compliance for protected content, display identification, and direct troubleshooting from the interface.
