Aten KL1116V - KVM Switcher over IP/16ports 19'' LCD

Rack mounting KVM Switch with dual-rail; integrated keyboard and touch panel; and 19'' inch LED-backlit LCD monitor; both panels are independently retractable to better fit our workflow and our needs. Control over IP through its 16 local ethernet ports using Cat 5e/6 twisted pair cable that allows serial or traditional KVM control using KA7520 converters from Aten. This unit allows direct connection of 16 devices and supports up to 256 cascaded devices using compatible KVM switches.

It offers local console access and remote acces over IP to monitor and manage your entire data center locally on the switch and over a network using a web browser. This switch supports a total of 64 user accounts and a maximum of 32 simultaneous logins that can communicate with each other during the session using the message board feature. It also allows out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting when the network is idle. They support chassis and blade servers with powerful new features such as power association, which allows KVM ports to be associated with Aten PDU outlets to manage server power from the KVM switch user interface.

Compatible with Aten's new control center video session recording software (CCVSR) and CC2000 centralized management software, which gives administrators full control of data centers and remote branch offices from anywhere, allowing them to remotely monitor and control all devices on the network, including the blade server chassis, individual blades and virtual machines. The CCVSR records all server operations accessed via KVM switches over IP. All changes and operations without exception, from BIOS level, login, running software applications to operating system configuration, are recorded and stored in a secure video file for testing.

The virtual multimedia feature allows mapping to USB storage media, hard drives, and DVD/CD drives located on remote servers, allowing you to easily transfer files, install applications, run operating system updates, or diagnose a network.

Features also include panel array mode, mouse dynasync, KVM adapter ID, and secure access to serial servers. Secure access to serially controlled devices includes network equipment, UNIX servers, Linux servers, Sun servers, and many other serial consoles. It allows installations without the need for expensive serial dongles. With two built-in NICs and out-of-band access, it ensures 24/7 availability of remote access to all computers in the server room.
