Sennheiser e965 Condenser handheld vocal microphone
The Sennheiser e965 is a large-diaphragm handheld condenser microphone designed for vocal applications. It offers a 1" dual-diaphragm capsule that can offer both cardioid and supercardioid polar patterns. The highly directional nature of the supercardioid pattern is an effective element of acoustic feedback prevention on stage. The microphone also offers a high-pass filter to eliminate noise and a switchable -10dB attenuator. With the pad on, the microphone can achieve an astonishing 152dB of sound pressure, which is really high. It picks up frequencies between 40Hz and 20kHz. The handheld microphone, which requires phantom power to operate, includes carrying bag and microphone clip.
