Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Replay Editor combines replay and multicamera editing functions into a single control panel, designed for use in live sports broadcasts and news programs. The various buttons allow toggling between different video sources, setting points of interest, and enabling automatic transition insertion, among other functions. This panel easily connects via Bluetooth 5.1 LE technology and is equipped with a large internal battery that keeps the panel running during long production days. Additionally, you can power on and off the panel with the integrated switch. For added versatility, you can also power or connect the panel via the available USB-C port.
Replays for live events
This is achievable by using multiple Hyperdeck units connected to a Blackmagic Cloud Store, which in turn must be connected to DaVinci Resolve, serving as the player. With this setup, it's possible to view all sources using Multiview and select the shots you want to replay. It's as simple as marking a point of interest when something exciting happens. DaVinci will automatically switch to playback mode, showing a few seconds before the marked point of interest so you can evaluate and select your preferred camera for the replay.
