The Dwarf Connection LR2.MKII is a wireless SDI and HDMI video transmitter up to 700m line of sight. It includes a built-in frequency scanner, combined with a spectrum analyzer that can be displayed via the HDMI output where it is possible to monitor the 5GHz band or video transmission. The LR2.MKII is a DFS-free wireless video transmitter system, designed to provide maximum indoor stability at distances up to 700m. It is based on WHDI technology. The LR2.MKII offers SDI, HDMI and mini-USB connectios on transmitter and receiver. It can multi-cast and cross-cast to an unlimited number of receivers.
The goal of Dwarf Connection is to provide a high quality wireless connection. This includes an uncompressed, latency-free video signal and stability you can rely on.
WHDI technology without DFS
While most manufacturers use Wi-Fi frequencies, Dwarf Connection continues to use reliable WHDI technology. Now you can add DC-LINK receivers to an existing (non-DFS) WHDI system from other brands, thanks to the unique Multibrand Connectivity technology. Operation is very simple: all MKII series receivers allow you to choose between different sets of frequencies, allowing compatibility with other brands in the market.
It is common to work with sensitive content, which is not intended for everyone's eyes. For devices that do not require pairing, this has sometimes been an exclusion criterion. The MKII series of the DC-LINK systems from Dwarf Connection has solved this problem by implementing an encryption mode that can be easily activated, and still allows a connection to an infinite number of receivers.
Master Channel Selection
Operation of the entire wireless system is now even easier. All connected receivers react to the transmitter's channel changes and follow them automatically. This behavior is known as Master Channel Selection.
In encrypted mode, all receivers follow the transmitter in and out of encrypted mode.
New Sword antennas
The replacement of the old antennas with the flexible Sword antennas significantly improves the stability of the connection systems. All Dwarf Connection models of the MKII series are now equipped with these antennas.
New carrying case
All Dwarf Connection LR2.MKII models come in the new carrying case, with space for one transmitter and up to three receivers. Since the dimensions of the devices have not changed, the previous DC-LINK devices also fit perfectly in the new case, and vice versa.
The Dwarf Connection MKII series is compatible with all previous models and, of course, with the entire range of current DC-LINK systems.
