A video production system that enables studios, campuses and enterprises to leverage today's leading video conferencing applications. In addition, the platform supports both future-proof video over IP and more traditional SDI.

TriCaster 2 Elite supports almost all web video conferencing tools, including Skype, MS Teams, Zoom Meetings, GoToMeeting, as well as all IP video sources including NDI, SRT, RTMP, RTP, HTTP, SRC, and smartphones. These, along with traditional SDI sources. It features a 60×45 high-speed video crosspoint that includes 32 external inputs that automatically determine the video format and resolutions up to 4Kp60.

No offsets are required with 8 configurable mix outputs in HD or 2 in 4Kp60, direct NDI outputs from media players, multiple streaming encoders, continuous NDI conversion of the 8 SDI inputs, and 8 independently selectable recorders for immediate playback.

Moreover, the TriCaster control API and automation tools offer creative video production and IP workflow solutions that are highly interoperable with existing equipment such as control room systems, video walls, multi-screens. The system also offers 8 mixes/effects (M/Es) with 4 layers each to ensure unlimited creativity, enhanced by tight integration with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Virtual and augmented reality scenes can be rendered in real time from Adobe Photoshop files, while non-standard frame ratios and aspect ratios such as 9:16 make it easy to deliver compelling content to a wide range of modern media displays.

  • Produce digital media content with multi-channel recording, multi-channel remote guest conferencing, clip upload, multi-angle instant replay functionality, media packaging including multi-camera acquisition, sophisticated static and motion graphics compositing, multimedia and visual effects, advanced audio processing, video input and output in non-standard aspect ratios, frame rates and resolutions for any platform and destination. Deliver with up to 8 configurable 3G or 2 UHD mix outputs.

Unlimited IP processing

  • Streaming video, audio and NDI® data over IP with near-zero latency and instant access and seamless exchange with essentially unlimited IP sources from anywhere on the network in real time. Linking multiple locations over IP to create sophisticated multi-system, multi-site workflows. Support for up to 32 video input sources and up to 48 output signals over IP, all independently configurable via software.

Interconnected production

  • Inputs, outputs and media assets are easily available and accessible to any user anywhere on the network. Configure custom user interfaces accessible with LivePanel™. A comprehensive macro automation system automates settings and supports custom scripting. Integrate production automation with Live Story Creator to run shows from formatted Microsoft Word scripts.

Distributed operation

  • Use NDI® technology to move video, audio and data from one TriCaster 2 Elite system to another. Span the compatible systems, devices and applications available on the network. Communicate with other compatible systems and edge devices over IP and be accessible for operation from any location on your network, even from multiple remote locations.
