HDMI video mixer with 2 multi-format inputs. Includes: simple switcher, high quality scaler, input expander, audio solution and online video effects/composition. Small enough to fit in suitcases and camera bags. Designed to integrate with video production workflows, it has a screwed area for standard video mounting boards and is easily attached to a tripod. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for mobile applications, especially when connected to batteries for long duration filming sessions in outdoor locations.
TheRoland V-02HDtakes the HDMI output from two cameras and perfectly mixes to a connected device, either a recorder or a live stream encoder. The operator can switch between cameras using the dedicated controls or even using his feet, via a connected footswitch, allowing him to continue operating his camera. Audio from both cameras and external sources can be mixed on the V-02HD and monitored on the dedicated headphone output. Finally, the resulting mix is embedded in the video and broadcasted via HDMI. The V-02HD transforms a two-camera session into a small one-person production studio to provide reliable recording or live streaming, even with minimal resources.
The V-02HD ensures a professional mixing transition between computers and cameras, maintaining high quality screen resolution with 'pixel accuracy' and 10-bit Deep Color 4:4:4:4 space. With simple two-button operation, anyone can perform professional switching from multiple sources. Having two devices with HDMI output does not mean that they are compatible, especially when it comes to video signals in a variety of resolutions, for example, it is possible that the output of a tablet may not be displayed correctly on the receiver screen. With the input and output scalers, the V-02HD can take SD, HD, and computer resolutions before resizing those video signals to fit on the screen and then output them in a new resolution that is compatible with the signal reception device. Not only does it allow you to embed analog audio into HDMI for live recording or streaming, but it also allows you to extract audio from an HDMI signal to send to a dedicated audio mixer.
