The combination of powerful audio features that include multichannel embedded audio, RCA and XLR analog inputs, SDI or HDMI digital source unembedded audio, and a variety of video connections with an auxiliary and program bus makes the V-60HD ideal for a variety of live and streaming event production applications.

The Roland V-60HD allows you to cut, mix and cross mix with the NAM, FAM transitions. Use up to 30 different curtain patterns. Time-based correction and frame synchronization provides seamless transitions between 6 video sources and 2 still images instead of buses.

The V-60HD is portable and small enough to be used in multiple locations in an office or outside the meeting location. The four SDI inputs and two HDMI inputs are perfect for changing cameras and computers at the same time for dynamic presentations. Not all cameras support full 1080p, so the SDI Input Deinterlacer allows you to mix and match multiple 1080i and 1080p SDI video sources without the need for external converters. Audio is easier to mix than ever before using the V-60HD's auto-mix feature, which automatically balances audio levels from multiple microphones and video sources by freeing the operator to focus on changing the video for the event.

Video communication helps to improve the effectiveness of education when used to broadcast conferences, assemblies, distance learning, sports, live performances or theatrical productions. Multi-destination outputs include Program, Preview and AUX buses and make it easy to send the main output to the main screen or live stream and presenter notes to the presenter's monitor. Automatic audio mixing automatically adjusts the audio level according to weighting, ensuring uniform levels for mixing room, presenter to send to recording, live streaming or room speakers. Educators can use the multichannel audio embedding function to record 8 discrete audio channels on an SDI video recorder to troubleshoot audio problems in post-editing or in independent, multilingual post-event audio sources. The V-60HD's user interface is easy for students, beginners and can be remotely controlled via the LAN port using Roland's remote control software from PC or Mac. For fixed installations, the V-60HD can be remotely controlled via the RS-232 port using touch panel interfaces, making it easy to control functions.

The V-60HD is ideal for multi-screen environments typically found in churches, conference centers, hotels and trade show venues where different content needs to be changed to stand alone displays. Dedicated auxiliary buttons make it as easy to switch to a second destination as switching to the main screen. A new wireless computing system for iOS and Android devices makes it easy to organize smoother events by providing a computer that helps talent operators and cameras identify which camera is currently selected for the program and which camera will be switched to the next camera.
