A2573F aluminium single tube tripod with S4Pro fluid video head supports loads of up to 8.8 lb and can be transported quite easily thanks to its compact and lightweight design. In addition, the head features a 60mm flat base and a 3/8"-16 threaded hole, so it can be detached from the tripod and mounted directly on sliders, jibs and other support equipment.
The S4Pro head features a smooth drag in PAN and TILT movements and has independent locks. The tilt range is +90 / -75° and the pan range is 360°. Some parts of the head are made of magnesium and others of aluminium. Virtually the entire head, including the controls, is made of sturdy but lightweight metal. A pan bar is included which can be connected to a rosette adapter on the left or right side of the head, for left or right-handed users. A camera plate is included that can be adjusted forwards / backwards to allow you to find the optimum balance for your camera. A safety lock on the plate ensures that, once mounted, it will not come off if it moves too far in either direction. Two camera screws (1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16) are supplied and can be stored under the camera plate on the head in dedicated slots. For attaching accessories, there is a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on each side of the head to which the articulated arms can be attached.
The A2573F is a 2-stage, 3-section tripod with a flat base centre column. With the head mounted, the tripod reaches a maximum height of 70" with the column fully extended. With the column retracted, it stands at a maximum of approximately 63". The minimum height is 16.3 ", which is not common among most tripods. At this height, you can set up the tripod for low-angle interval shooting and other applications. Each leg of the tripod is independently adjustable into three positions.The center column has a level adapter so you can adjust the position of the fluid head without having to adjust the tripod legs. The center column also has a weight hook for sandbags and other loads that you can hang for additional stability. The A2573F tripod features rubber feet and spiked feet for use on virtually any surface.
