Each leg of the Befree Advanced consists of 4 sections, which can be adjusted and fixed in seconds thanks to M-lock fasteners that operate with a simple 90° turn. A selector on the side allows the tripod to be set to three different angle configurations at the touch of a button. Complementing the legs is a central ball head, with a dedicated knob for panning, as well as a friction control for fine-tuning the tension during use. The quick release plate offers compatibility with RC2 and Arca, except for the Manfrotto 804-3W and MH804-3W heads.

The MKBFRTA4RD-BH from Manfrotto is an advanced travel tripod for aluminium video of the Befree Advanced series with Twistlock leg locking system. This tripod is suitable for creating video content with professional video cameras, with a maximum load of 8Kg.
The M-lock (Twistlock) leg section locking system is a quick, easy-to-use and compact solution for photographers on the move. It integrates ergonomic leg angle selectors as well as a perfect upper structure to achieve maximum stability while maintaining a compact size, which also incorporates an Easy Link connector, ideal for connecting accessories such as arms.
The Befree Advanced has a new top structure or'spider' developed to ensure perfect stability on all types of terrain, including the most irregular, always keeping the camera completely stable and ready to capture sharp images. The'spider' featured in this innovative model also provides an Easy Link, as do Manfrotto's professional tripods 190 and 055, allowing photographers to enhance their creativity by adding accessories that make their shot unique and unforgettable.
The ergonomic leg angle selector is designed to be used by both right and left handed photographers, allowing both to intuitively change the shooting perspectives and find the correct tripod height without losing focus on the shot they want. The Befree advanced can be easily configured in three independent leg angle positions, ensuring maximum shooting versatility for all creative ideas that may arise outdoors.
The tripod is equipped with Manfrotto's Advanced 494 aluminum ball joint, a small but powerful and intuitive ball joint that allows for fast and accurate camera movement. The 494 has three independent controls: a main knob to control the ball lock; an integrated friction control knob that adjusts the ball tension so that the weight of the equipment is always perfectly balanced; and a separate panoramic knob that keeps the horizon flat and moves the camera horizontally, allowing for amazing scenery shots.
The head mounts a unique shoe that makes it fully compatible with the world's most widespread standard spherical plain bearing accessories: Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-swiss style. With this aluminum quick release shoe attached to the camera, all Manfrotto spherical plain bearings and almost all Arca style spherical plain bearings on the market can be configured quickly and effortlessly.
The Manfrotto Befree Advanced Twistlock supports a load of 8 kg, extends to a height of 150 cm and measures only 40 cm when folded. It weighs only 1.49 kg in the aluminium version, a record for video-travelling tripods. This kit is available in black, red and blue.
