The Datavideo NVS-35 allows you to stream video up to 1080p60 encoded in H.264/AVC to two web destinations such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitch or Amazon Web Services simultaneously. The streaming encoder has HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs, with maximum 1080p60 resolution, and supports analogue audio, for insertion, through its RCA and XLR inputs. It is capable of two simultaneous streams via its Ethernet port, using common protocols such as RTMP/RTSP and SRT in H.264/AVC encoding format.
While streaming, it can record the stream to an SD card for editing and archiving. It is compatible with dvCloud, an optional subscription service that allows you to manage your streams and record H.264 programmes over the Internet. It supports encoding in a range of resolutions from 128x128 to 1920x1080, and also supports vertical streaming to accommodate smartphone streaming.
Simultaneous streaming and recording
Supports simultaneous live streaming and recording in H.264 format, which is suitable for a wide range of applications.
Multiple input configurations
Supports HDMI and SDI video inputs; XLR and RCA audio inputs are provided.
SD card recording
Supports FAT32, exFAT and NTFS file systems and continuous recording without file size limitation.
Dual Streaming
Simultaneous live streaming to two platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
Vertical screen streaming
Viewers using a smartphone to watch streaming video may prefer portrait orientation. The NVS-35 offers a portrait screen streaming function and you can easily create a vertically oriented video with a few basic settings.
Selectable audio output
Optional embedded/external audio/audio mixing with wide compatibility.
SRT Streaming Protocol
RTMP streaming over unreliable and low bandwidth networks, such as the public Internet, can cause problems. Using the dvCloud, you can now replace the RTMP protocol with SRT, which will solve most of the streaming problems you may have. The SRT streaming protocol is better than RTMP because it handles problematic networks more efficiently.
Datavideo workflow
Datavideo's wide range of encoders, cameras and mixers are fully compatible with SRT and dvCloud. Datavideo and dvCloud encoders provide reliable streams over unreliable networks. By using a Datavideo encoder and dvCloud together, you can use SRT (instead of RTMP) on the initial problematic connection or "First Mile". After your video stream arrives at dvCloud, you can depend on dvCloud's reliable, high-bandwidth network to deliver the stream to your destinations, such as Facebook and YouTube.
Compatible with dvCloud
Get the most out of your streaming hardware with dvCloud. The NVS-35 is perfectly compatible with Datavideo's dvCloud service. This subscription service gives you the ability to send your stream to multiple destinations at the same time, without having to have multiple hardware encoders. You can also record your production on the dvCloud platform in H.264 format. After recording, you can directly use this recording to upload it to your favourite content platform.
