The Matrox Maevex 6150 IP encoder is a 4K encoder for four HDMI signals that offers capture and encoding with zero processing latency. It supports four simultaneous 4K streams and recordings. It incorporates multiple features such as: six different streaming protocols, various chroma sampling configurations, adjustable encoding parameters, zero-latency pass-through, compositing, and all in a convenient, quiet, low-power, rack-mountable device form factor.
Low latency streaming. High quality experience.
Achieve zero-latency transmission for real-time delivery of audio/video content to four 4K displays. This H.264 encoder integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructures, and interfaces with virtually any network device, ensuring high-density content delivery and system scalability, all without sacrificing quality. The Matrox Maevex distribution system also relies on existing 1 Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure to transmit many streams, of any quality, using a single cable, eliminating the need for a dedicated distribution network. The Maevex 6150 encoder can be tuned to have latency as low as 16ms.
Flexible protocols. Secure streaming.
Enjoy a variety of streaming protocols - HLS, MPEG2-TS, RTP, RTMP, RTSP and SRT - for smooth streaming. Support for the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) video transport protocol enables secure, low-latency, high-performance streaming, even over noisy or unpredictable networks such as the public Internet. Whether it's a stable LAN connection, a limited WAN, or unpredictable Internet transport, Maevex has the right streaming protocol for the job.
Quad transmission and recording. Anywhere, at the same time.
The Maevex 6150 streams content to local endpoints, over the LAN and Internet, feeds cloud-based servers, and records to local or network storage, for later editing and viewing. The Maevex 6150 encoder can also stream live and/or recorded content to multiple video-on-demand platforms, such as Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitch, Wowza, Vimeo, IBM Video Streaming and Restream, to name a few.
Flawless image quality
Benefit from support for 4K/UHD 4:4:4 subsampling and H.264 compression for optimal encoding. The multi-chroma subsampling feature offers options of: 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0 and 4:0:0, to best balance the bitrate and compression demands of different content, environments and encoding markets. The Maevex 6150 IP encoder offers user-definable bitrates and quantization parameters, as well as various encoding modes to optimize desktop, low latency or image quality.
Rack mountable. Ultra-quiet operation.
Supports up to 8 streaming and 4K recordings from a single U of rack space. The Maevex 6150 encoder is a stand-alone device, occupying ½U of rack space. Place the device on the desktop, workstation or rack, and it's ready to use.
Its quiet operation means Maevex is made for control rooms, operations centers and other critical environments that require a noise level of 25dB or less.
One touch control
The built-in LCD on the device displays the device's IP and streaming addresses, system information and other important data to make it easy to install and troubleshoot directly on the device. Six buttons on the device (for reading and/or controlling the LCD screen and starting/stopping streaming and recording) provide all the control you need at the touch of a button.
Complete reach and control
Discover devices, manage content and monitor all streams and recordings from anywhere on the network with PowerStream Plus software. Included with the purchase of Maevex hardware, PowerStream Plus makes it easy to manage and update both generations of Maevex products through a single application. PowerStream Plus can be installed on any computer connected to the network.
