The pack consisting of the JVC GY-HM170E professional video camera and the LiveU Solo HDMI streaming encoder are the ideal set so that, with great ease of transport and installation, you can make your broadcasts to social networks, or any other destination, from anywhere in the world, with minimal investment, high quality and reliability.
The GY-HM170E camera has a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor, capable of delivering up to 4K over HDMI and recording H.264 to two SD cards in dual, backup or sequential mode. It has a 3.5" flip-down LCD screen and professional audio inputs for mic or line. The LiveU Solo HDMI has HDMI input and can stream to any platform, including YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Wowza, Ustream, etc. It has USB for connection of 2 external modems (optional) with which, in addition to Ethernet and WiFi, you can make transmissions using its bonding capability.
Congestion, network fluctuations or lack of bandwidth can be a disaster for your streaming. LiveU Solo ensures connection stability by bonding multiple networks, of different bandwidths, to create a single reliable connection for streaming your live video content. By dynamically adapting its video bitrate, the Solo ensures the highest quality video transmission, even when streaming on the move, travelling from one location to another. As the bandwidth changes, the LRT technology informs the encoder and adjusts it to maintain a consistent stream. Packet ordering is a prerequisite linked to the connection for streaming video. LRT technology goes further, constantly talking to the Solo unit to sequence packets, recognize missing data or packets, or resend information if necessary.
