The Kiloview N1 portable SDI to NDI video encoder is a professional video encoding device that generates an NDI signal, which can be transmitted over cable or Wi-Fi, from an SDI input up to 1080p60. In addition to using the NDI protocol, it supports streaming transmission over RTMP, SRT, TS over UDP, HLS or RTSP, making the Kiloview N1 the ideal device for streaming broadcasts in any circumstance.
Its small size and weight, together with the hot shoe, allow it to be used on any camera, even DSLR, or associated with a gimbal. The encoding delay is 68ms and the output bitrate can be adjusted in a wide range from 64Kb/s to 40Mb/s.
The internal battery of the Kiloview N1 allows transmission for approximately 5 hours, while the fan cooling system keeps the NDI encoder in perfect working condition.
The Kiloview N1 video encoder is a professional video encoding device for NDI video production, a network protocol for video transmission developed by Newtek. It converts an SDI video signal into an IP stream under NDI protocol, and transmits video over a wired or wireless WIFI network. In addition to NDI, it also supports transmission of video streams over SRT, RTMP, TS over UDP, HLS and SIP.
The video input is via SDI and supports HD resolutions up to 1080p60. The video encoding process has a latency of 68ms and allows bit rate adjustment in a wide range from 64Kb/s to work in low capacity networks to 40Mb/s when maximum image quality is required.
It includes features such as the possibility of superimposing images or text at any position on the screen and a wireless intercom system, subject to the installation of intercom software. It has an SD/TF card slot for content recording and also allows sending to NAS storage.
The small size of the device (115x75x35 mm), together with its weight of only 380g, make it ideal for direct transmission from video cameras or for its use in gimbals. The internal battery provides a transmission autonomy of more than 5 hours, to be able to transmit even in the worst circumstances.
