BirdDog P400 4K Full-NDI, 6G-SDI and HDMI 4K PTZ Camera

Full NDI. No compromises

In the NDI environment there are two possibilities: Full NDI and NDI|HX. NDI is a variable bit-rate I-Frame codec that achieves about 140 Mbits at 1080p60 and is visually lossless. NDI|HX is a compressed, long GOP variant of H.264 that achieves about 12 Mbits at 1080p60. P4K is a Full NDI camera.

4:2:2: 4K

The P400 camera features the world's first 4K NDI with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling that can be decoded natively in hardware. If decoded with a 4:2:0 receiver, the transmission will automatically be 4:2:0.

Free Cam Control software

The Cam Control App is the easiest way to use and brand BirdDog cameras. Simply run it on the same network as the cameras and access all camera functions through an intuitive interface. You can quickly dial in the look you want and copy the settings to multiple cameras in seconds.

Incredible low light performance

In low light conditions, the camera automatically switches from day to night mode, removing the IR cut filter to increase sensitivity for clear images in near darkness.

Triple output. NDI, 6G-SDI and HDMI.

It has simultaneous NDI, 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs. It is ready to work with a Full NDI workflow, or if you are still in an SDI workflow you can use it as an SDI camera and prepare it for the future.

Precise robotics

The P400's robotics are super-accurate and super-sensitive. Slow down the pan and tilt speeds to create super professional shots that are dramatic, or increase the speeds for high-action sports that allow you to follow the movements.

20x optical zoom

20x optical zoom offers an F2.0 aperture with super-smooth and fast zooming. Transition from wide-angle to telephoto and recall preset positions quickly and with super-fine precision.
