BirdDog P4K camera features a fully rebuilt codec engine that delivers even lower latency and computationally superior image quality. Better images, less bandwidth and faster.
In the NDI environment there are two possibilities: Full NDI and NDI|HX. NDI is a variable bit-rate I-Frame codec that achieves about 140 Mbits at 1080p60 and is visually lossless. NDI|HX is a compressed, long GOP variant of H.264 that achieves about 12 Mbits at 1080p60. P4K is a Full NDI camera.

The Cam Control App is the easiest and simplest way to brand BirdDog cameras. Simply run the app on a Windows 10 computer on the same network as your BirdDog cameras and access all camera functions through an attractive interface. Quickly dial in the look you like and copy settings across multiple cameras in seconds.
P4K robotics are super-accurate and super-sensitive. Slow down the pan and tilt speeds to create super professional shots that are dramatic, or increase the speeds for high-action sports that allow you to follow the movements.
The front, rear and side Tally lights combine to create a 360-degree Tally light. Now everyone on the production set can see which camera is on air.
