The 30x-SDI Gen2 model of the PTZOptics line of direct streaming PTZ cameras features 3G-SDI output for integration with broadcast equipment. The Gen2 model is capable of 1080p60/50 recording and streaming in H.265 and MJPEG, as well as H.264. In addition to 3G-SDI output, it also has LAN, HDMI and CV outputs, RS-232 input and output and RS-485 port. The SDI, LAN and HDMI outputs can be used simultaneously, with the same resolution. The CV output can only be used by itself and at 480i/576i resolution.
This robotic camera has a 4.4 to 132.6mm, 30x zoom lens, allowing close-up and wide-angle shots, to best suit face-to-face and group meetings. It performs well in low light conditions, thanks to the f/1.8 to f/2.8 aperture and the need for minimum illumination of only 0.5lux at f/1.8. It has wide dynamic range and 2D and 3D noise cancellation.
PTZOPTICS 30X-SDI GEN 2 LIVE STREAMING BROADCAST CAMERA (GREY)
PTZ camera with CV, SDI, HDMI and IP outputs, designed to be used in flexible live streaming and video production environments. PTZOptics' lens quality and control capabilities offer endless possibilities for HD capture. All 3G-SDI models can be upgraded with NDI.
It has 1080p high-definition video output, with 30X lossless optical zoom, which allows you to get considerably closer to the subjects. All 30X models offer a wide field of view, with the ability to zoom up to an angle of only 2.28°.
The camera simultaneously produces 1080p/60fps video in HDMI and 3G-SDI, plus multiple IP streams, H.264/H.265/MJPEG, for maximum flexibility. 3G-SDI cabling is ideal for working with 1080p video at 60fps over long distances, but all SDI cameras also provide HDMI output up to 1080p. PTZOptics HD-SDI camera models also include PoE (Power Over Ethernet), so the Ethernet port can be used for power, control and video/audio. Each camera has a 3.5mm audio input, which can be used to insert audio. HD-SDI models support integration of audio, via line-level input, into HDMI and Ethernet for IP streaming.
The cameras, in addition to IP control, include RS-232 input/output ports and one RS-485. These ports use VISCA commands to be integrated with most common control systems. Modules are available for download from the manufacturer's website. PTZOptics has an updated iOS camera control application available from the Apple Store and a free Android application. Controls built into the video production software or by a hardware joystick driver can be used. There are free IP camera drivers for Mac, PC and OBS.
All cameras have the ability to stream live from the camera to your CDN. Simply enter the RTMP streaming information from the CDN into the IP interface of the camera to start the streaming. They include h.265 "High-Efficiency Codec" IP Streaming together with h.264 and multicast streaming.
Please note: When streaming over SDI, HDMI, and IP simultaneously, if SDI and HDMI are set to 1080p60, IP can stream 1080p30 max; if IP is set to 1080p60, SDI and HDMI can stream 1080p30 max (resolution is adjusted for both SDI and HDMI at the same time with the same control)
