Aten KL1108 - KVM switcher over IP/8 ports local/remote

Dual-rail LCD KVM switch with 19'' display. With 8 ethernet control ports using Cat.5e/6 twisted pair cable. The unit has a built-in touch panel and LCD monitor with LED backlight with double sliding independently.

This switch offers the possibility of remote access over IP to monitor and manage your entire data center using a web browser. In addition, they offer out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting when the network is idle. It supports blade chassis and blade servers with features such as "power association," which allows KVM ports to be associated with Aten PDU outlets to manage server power from the user interface.

Compatible with the new video session recording software control center (CCVSR) and centralized management software CC2000, which gives administrators full control of remote data centers and branch offices from anywhere, allowing them to remotely monitor and control all devices on the network. The CCVSR records all server operations accessed via KVM switches over IP. All changes and operations without exception, from BIOS level, login, running software applications to operating system configuration, are recorded and stored in a secure video file for testing. The virtual multimedia feature allows mapping to USB storage media, hard drives, and DVD/CD drives located on remote servers, allowing you to easily transfer files, install applications, run operating system updates, or diagnose a network.

This unit supports up to 64 user accounts and 32 simultaneous logins. Remote functions include a message forum, panel array mode, mouse dynasync, adapter ID and secure access to serial servers. Secure access to serially controlled devices includes network equipment, UNIX servers, Linux servers, Sun servers, and many other serial consoles. It allows installations without the need for serial dongles. With two integrated NICs and out-of-band access, it ensures 24/7 availability of remote access to all computers in the server room.
