The AJA HA5-12G HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI converter transforms one HDMI 2.0 input into two 12G-SDI outputs, minimising cable runs for HDMI distribution. It features HDMI 2.0 input and two 12G-SDI outputs. It supports video up to DCI 4K and UHD 4K, and supports HDR content with HDMI InfoFrame data analysis.
With features such as support for resolutions up to DCI 4K60, 60/50fps HFR display at 60p, and DCI/UHD 4K source mapping with 2SI (two-sample interleaving), the HA5-12G fits the professional workflow. It supports DCI and UHD 4K, compensating for the difference in resolutions when displaying one type of content on another type of monitor and vice versa. Supports 8-ch audio embedded on HDMI and outputs up to 8-ch on SDI plus 2 channels of analogue audio over RCA. Three-colour LED indicators for synchronised input signal and to indicate DCI/UHD 4K, HD-SDI or SD-SDI.

HDMI 2.0 to two 12G-SDI converter with single link outputs. It includes two SDI DA outputs and transmits 12G-SDI on each SDI link, reducing cable runs when transporting 4K/UltraHD SDI. HA5-12G supports up to 8-Channels of audio from the HDMI source or 2-Channel analog audio (RCA), with eight or two channels of digital embedded audio on 12G-SDI.
Fiber SFP equipped HA5-12G models are available, including the HA5-12G-T single channel transmitter, which extends HDMI source 4K signals over long distances (10 km Single Mode). The HA5-12G-2T dual channel transmitter offers two 12G-SDI coaxial outputs and two 12G-SDI over Fiber outputs to simultaneously enable HDMI 4K source extension to multiple locations without a distribution amplifier.
