The large aperture of the Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art wide-angle lens makes it ideal for landscape, nature, interior, architecture, and even for capturing large general context shots, and thanks to its maximum aperture, images with an attractive bokeh effect can be captured.
This lens incorporates three FLD and four SLD glass elements in its design, to correct chromatic aberrations throughout the focusing range, and help ensure great image sharpness, clarity and contrast, regardless of the focus point or aperture setting.
In addition, the Sigma 24mm F1.4 ART has succeeded in minimizing flare, distortion, vignetting at image edges and all other aberrations thanks to Super Multi-Layer Coating to deliver virtually aberration- and distortion-free, high-contrast, clear-edged images (even at maximum aperture).
This lens have 9-blade circular diaphragm creates an attractive out-of-focus effect on out-of-focus areas of the image. The built-in HSM motor performs fast and quiet autofocusing, which is complemented by an optimized AF algorithm to produce smoother focusing performance. HSM also enables full-time manual focus control by simply turning the focus ring at any time.
With the optional SIGMA USB DOCK, you can update lens firmware, adjust focus points and manual focus calibration, among other parameters. Attach the lens to its SIGMA USB DOCK, connected to a computer, to customize settings with the dedicated "SIGMA Optimization Pro" software.
Features of Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens:
- Wide-angle 24mm f/1.4 designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras.
- Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture for working in low light conditions and providing greater control over focus position with shallow depth of field.
- Incorporates two FLD, five SLD and two aspherical elements to correct chromatic aberrations throughout the focusing range.
- The fixed petal-shaped lens hood helps reduce lens flare in bright light.
- The bayonet mount is made of brass to ensure precision and durability.
- The lens is constructed of a thermally stable composite (TSC) material that withstands wide temperature variations.
