This lens is extremely compact and lightweight and includes excellent transmission technology (MSC) that is especially quiet for video recording and provides a very fast autofocus for capturing the best snapshots.

The MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism provides precise, quiet AF thanks to its state-of-the-art technology and a small amount of lightweight lenses. Unlike other lenses where the lens uses a noise-making focusing mechanism, this M. ZUIKO focus lens is moved using a metal shaft and transport screw that reduce noise to a minimum.
