The HDMI cable is not suitable for long runs, but using a DAC-9P, users can convert HDMI to high definition or SDI standard definition and benefit from the high quality and affordable connectivity offered by SDI cables. The DAC-9P even embeds HDMI audio into the SDI signal so only a coaxial cable is required.
