The DC output D-Tap socket is located at the top of the S-8183A battery and provides a 14.4V (Nominal) DC output for connecting equipment such as camera lights, monitors, wireless transmitters, etc. The maximum power of the D-Tap is 120W, 10A.
On the side of the battery, there are 4 LED charge level indicators that allow you to check the remaining capacity of the battery. It allows a quick view of the capacity before use.
SWIT's S-8183A battery supports 6A fast charge, to save more than 50% of the charging time, can be charged to 80% in 2.5 hours and full in 3.8 hours.
The S-8183A is designed with a thicker and wider nickel layer to weld the cells, minimize voltage drop, dissipate the heat produced and improve assembly. The cells are arranged as a triangular structure in the battery pack, stable and shockproof. The cells are fixed to protect the package and separate the circuit board, keeping the internal pressure away from the circuits to ensure stable operation.
The S-8183A battery has multiple safety protections. The battery has an MCU to measure and record data in real time, and will cut power when it detects over-voltage, under-voltage, over-intensity, high or low temperature. In addition, the battery housing is made of ABS material, with optimized design and non-slip for safe handling.
