The Roland P-20HD instant replay system is an affordable and easy-to-use solution for creating professional slow motion or variable speed replays. Thanks to its 2 switchable HDMI inputs with built-in scalers, the P-20HD transforms normal sports video productions into spectacular ones. It allows you to queue clips and play them back, while recording uninterrupted in the background. It records H.264 to high-capacity SD cards, on which logos, graphics or still images can also be stored. Stored images can be superimposed over clips or displayed full screen in Full HD resolution.
The P-20HD can be used separately, thanks to its two inputs, or in conjunction with a video mixer, using the mixer's auxiliary buses to select the signal to be recorded. In recording view, its color display shows the current video input and SD card information. In playback view, it displays trimmed preview clips for live replays or compilation into playlists.
The Roland P-20HD offers numerous physical controls for dedicated tasks, providing a hands-on experience to get the job done without the slightest frustration. Transport control buttons include play, pause, forward, reverse, mark in, mark out, and mark in. A control wheel, with high-precision optical encoder, provides fluidity for scrolling through clips and making replays or edits, while the T-Bar allows easy adjustment of playback speed. The Speed Range function offers ultra-slim control, which is great for focusing attention on pinpoint action and controversial plays.
