This 24" Atomos NEON 4K HDR monitor/recorder is an accurate monitoring solution with deep blacks and excellent contrast, ProRes and DNx recording capabilities. The monitor features 4096x2160 native resolution, DCI and UHD 4K support, as well as 1080p/i and 720p. It offers a sharp image, capable of supporting HDR and displaying a 10-bit image, covering 100% of the DCI P3 standard. Its 1000cd/m² brightness and 512 backlight zones enable it to achieve a contrast of 1,000,000:1.
The NEON runs AtomosOS on a user-replaceable CPU, allowing you to have the latest Atomos technology, without having to replace the entire monitor. Remote control of the NEON is done from an iOS App. HDMI and 12G-SDI inputs are available. It can record ProRes and DNx to a 2.5" SSD (not included) on the Master Caddy II or an AtomX SSDmini (available separately). The monitor is Rec.709 and Dolby Vision compatible.

24" HDR recorder monitor for cinema and studio. The Atomos NEON 24 combines ProRes RAW recording with cinema display technology to monitor, verify on-screen production, and review creative intent, story flow, and continuity between scenes. Real-time Dolby Vision processing is available.
The Neon series of Atomos is available in 2 sizes (17 and 24 inches) being able to combine and synchronize together and controlled by the application of Atomos, up to 1000 monitors. Its panel has 512 zones of dynamic backlighting, providing a perfect and calibrated vision of 4K DCI at 180 degrees, a color coverage of 10 bits DCI-P3 at 100% and a contrast prepared for HDR of 1,000,000:1. With the built-in Apple ProRes RAW 4Kp60/HDp240 recorder that captures every shot, Neon enables fast, real-time review and broadcast with Dolby Vision to check the reality of content on home TVs.
The Neon series of Atomos allows you the flexibility to use your Atomos in low-budget productions with uncompressed 10-bit HDMI video cameras, up to 12G-SDI 12-bit, 4Kp60 RAW from the best movie cameras in the world. It also deliberately eliminates the use of the touch screen and is controlled by Bluetooth via the Atomos iOS application or a physical remote control. The application provides controlled playback, slow motion, frame by frame analysis and preview tools.
Neon has the easy-to-use built-in AtomOS so you can use the application to access real-time production tools, including peak focus, exposure, calibration, zoom, waveform monitor, RGB monitor, vectoroscope and LUT selection. Neon allows real-time recording and playback of captured footage up to 4Kp60 in formats including ProRes, ProRes RAW, Cinema DNG, Avid DNx. From the App you can tag the shot so you can easily identify it during editing. The application unlocks the ability to insert meta-data specific to each project frame by frame, allowing you to simplify and automate the project management of a complex production so that the creator can focus on the improvements of his artistic narration.
